January 22, 2006-- This page (news+news archive) is new as of today. I wasn't liking the news being on the home page anymore. Mostly site updates were listed, although there were some important announcements which will continue to be there on the home page in another form. Also some of the posts have gotten a bit more personal and would be better suited to a blog type page away from the main traffic of the home page. Perhaps in the future a true blog will be created but for now this is it.
January 10, 2006-- Happy Birthday to me! Yes, today is my birthday! I am a bit indifferent about it mostly. Although it is fun to see how silly others act towards the b-day person. I have a few more years to go before I reach forty and there was a goal I had set for myself back in high-school about forty. So that is on my mind and has been for a couple years really. I knew a guy who threw a really great party for himself one year. (hmm, actually I know a couple of people who did that) Anyway, this one guy rented a hall with bar and dance floor, DJ, a tuxedo for himself, a limo to take him and his closest pals to the party. Haha it was cool. I wont be doing that this year but perhaps in the future I will. Kinda makes me smile thinking of it though.
January 3, 2006-- Happy New Year! I am looking foward to this year, not sure why exactly. Personally and professionally 2005 was not so wonderful and so 2006 I have high hopes for. Knowing full well I will have to do the all the changing myself but probably I will also be affecting people and things close by me hopfully in good ways

November 21, 2005-- Well it has been an interesting month to say the least. I had wanted to get so much more done for this site and for the items available to you as well as new designs but I had a major setback this month. I lost alot of data files which had no backups whatsoever. Such as most of the race fan stuff, the Tachometer, the Nas-hole logos and the Nascaholics Anonymous all gone. It now only exists in the digital form online. Don't get me wrong you may still order the items and they will be as good as they ever were. I just dont have the expanded files to work with to put them on alternate products or easily redesign them. It will all have to be built from scratch. Other losses include the penguin illustrations and a great many digital photos I have taken over the past year and a half, some of which I had wanted to share with you and are now gone forever. It is like I had a fire. Thankfully I did not because that would have been so much worse. I am moving on now. This month has been all about recouping what I could and recovering. It has taken quite some time to get the computer and all its programs, e-mail, web-building resoources operatable again. This has been my first chance to write you all about it. More to come tomorrow...
October 22, 2005-- Hello there friends. I have mostly done updates to the site and corrected minor issues this month. I am planning to launch a range of holiday cards soon so look for that. There was a request for the Dragonslayer image to be put onto a poster. I have done this by uploading a higher quality image to cafepress in order to meet the demand of the larger format. July 23, 2005-- The portfolio page has been upgraded (thankfully). Although it is not one hundred percent finished it is one hundred times more pleasing than the old one! What is old is new again...there has been added another portfolio section, my college submission portfolio. In an attempt to be helpful and interesting I submit to you this entry. Those of you interested in art school can see what I used to be accepted and gain scholarship monies as well!

Unfortunately two other designs are being held back by cafepress pending thier decision of whether there is copyright infringment or not. Not the first time but I was surprised by how fast it was held back. There must be a live person looking at each image that comes in! amazing. Well I had hoped to release the two today but it will have to wait. Nothing really brand new just two nice alternates redesigned for the product nicely.

Feb. 26, 2005 -- Nascar Nextel cup schedule mini poster is finally complete! Using readily available info on the when and where of Nascar's 2005 season, and without actually using Nascar's or Nextel's logos or those words for that matter, I have made available to you a clear and well designed track schedule. Using a fun design with which you can follow the "road" to the Chase for the Cup the entire season; from the green flag start to the checkered flag finish! Each track is hilighted along the "road". The last ten races which are known as the Chase for the Cup where the top ten drivers points are reset is also hilighted in a darker box. There is a custom illustration at the top of the page showing the new "safer" barrier and featuring the Warp9 Design stock car! Feb. 1, 2005 -- Febuary already!, Hi everyone. I have nothing outstanding to offer you today except a warm greeting of thanks for stopping by. In the works is a new 2005 nascar nextel cup schelude designed here at warp9 design. It should be available soon. Hopefully before the real season begins in a few weeks. ------ Those of you not so interested in racing there are a few illustration projects which are next in line for production that I am sure you will enjoy. 13, 2005-- It is the new year, and even
my b-day has past. I hope everyone is well and happy. I have had
a busy and challenging couple of months. I have been sending out
custom holiday cards to my friends and family for quite a number
of years now. It started in lieu of gift giving when I was totally
broke and now has turned into a regular event. This year I thought
I was done early, by about two weeks when I realized that some changes
were needed. I fell into a depression about the whole thing and
didn't work on it at all. Long story short, I've finished the hard
part and upon encouragement from people who still want to receive
the artwork I will be sending this years greetings out as soon as
I can. I thank you for your patience, your friendship, and love.
On another note some other work
was done here at Warp9 Design, there are new designs available at
the shop for race fans. Hot off the griddle so get 'em while the
gettins good. They will be listed to the right for a while but you
can find them in the shop under the 'for race fans only' section.

Dec. 20, 2004--
Newly updated in the fun section of the shop are two new faces for
the clocks. The new clocks feature the little boy with his sled
surrounded by snowflakes for you to tell the time. The other is
the popular I can fly! penguin with his balloon backpack. This was
specially redesigned to fit the clockface better, and it comes with
funky numerals letting you know when it is time to fly! To find

I have been busy working and so not around to update this site for
awhile and for that I am sorry. I do have some exciting stuff coming
for you on the horizon. Some free and some not but all very cool.
I am also working on the best way to present the portfolio images
